What's Next for Brent the Stunt Guy?

Hey believe friends!

Brent the stunt guy here, I just wanted to give you a quick update on what’s been happening in 2010. My arm broke in June of 2009 during a show. I was doing the ladder stunt that I had performed many times at Believe events. I fell and broke it . I wasn’t done with my set so I had to finish my talk without knowing how bad it was yet. After I walked off stage I rushed to a hospital and began my forced sabbatical. :) I had surgery and now it is healing on schedule. Throughout the fall of 09 we finish Bible courses and also contact churches to sponsor us in the Philippines. Please pray for us this next month as we try to expand our support team.

It is amazing how fast our own plans can change. The Lord has taught me quite a few things through this second broken bone. I am still convinced that the stunts are a tool the Lord wants me to continue to use, but this has been a time for us to sharpen our focus on what is most important: that God wants to use our gifts and abilities and even our weaknesses to honor and proclaim His name.

All of our pre production for life abroad ends as we head to the Philippines mid 2010. Just like Jeremiah, we are called to speak. Our prayers will be with the Believe team, leaders and students as they experience The Messiah Tour. We are so excited and cannot wait, but there is much to be done before then!

We are so excited to continue our ministry overseas. We can’t wait to see what else God will use us for! Hope to see you at believe!
