Trip Description

If you saw the film, Love Costs Every Thing, then you'll recognize some of the people you'll be partnering with during this experience.  You'll get a firsthand glimpse of how Central India Christian Mission (CICM) is impacting the Kingdom as they provide for the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of people in India and around the world.  Love on children at their orphanages in Damoh and other surrounding villages – See how they care for the sick as they have one of the best hospitals in the area – Learn from church planters who do whatever it takes to share the Gospel message. 

In terms of population, India is the second largest country in the world with 1.2 billion people.  Economic progress is coming to parts of India, but much of the country still suffers extreme poverty, malnutrition, disease and illiteracy.  According to the World Bank, 42% of the world’s poor live in India (that’s over 450 million people living below the international poverty line of $1.25 a day).  ”Religion” has a great hold on most of India’s population; over 80% are Hindus and about 12% are Muslim.  CICM is committed to sharing the news of Jesus Christ with the millions of unreached people.  God is on move in India.  Be a part of this Kingdom work.
