Registration Steps

READ THROUGH EACH OF THE STEPS THERE IS NEW INFORMATION BELOW!

  1. Register Online or click here to download the registration form.

  2. Pay your $75 deposit per person you are registering (remainder of balance due at event)

  3. Download the medical release form – you’ll need one (and a copy of it for us) completed for everyone in your group; youth leaders are not permitted to sign forms for participants.

  4. Read the Adult Background Check FAQ sheet, then download the Background Check Verification form and/or Adult Disclaimer form as needed – any adult who hasn’t been checked prior to the event will have to submit the Disclaimer Form, these can be filled out prior to your arrival.

    • Pay deposit with an electronic check
    • Once your registration is received and confirmed, you will receive a confirmation e-mail

    Please include your primary e-mail address on your registration form as all communication concerning your registration status, account balance, and other information will be conducted via e-mail.

  • The $75 deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable to another CIY program. If a participant cancels, the $75 deposit cannot be applied to the total church balance. However, it can be transferred to another student or sponsor's deposit within your group. Please register for the amount you intend to bring.

    There will be a $35 increase in price if you register after April 1st, 2010. Please visit the Dates and Locations page for more information on pricing for the individual service weeks

    Remaining group balance is due on registration day at your event. A refund less $75 deposit is permitted up to registration day of your service week.

    You must provide an updated number count including a breakdown of males and females by June 1, 2010.

  • Groups are registered on a first-come, first-serve basis. If your requested location has already been filled, we will contact you with two options:

    • Placement on a waiting list for your first choice.
    • Placement in a different, available work week.
  • Know Sweat requires at least one sponsor per every five students attending. If you have both males and females, you will need at minimum one sponsor of each gender.

    • 11 Meals: Monday dinner through Friday breakfast
    • 4 nights lodging: On a college campus, traditional or suite style dorms.
    • Connection: theme development, band, speaker, devotions, interactive elements and production.
    • Project: preparation, equipment, paint, building materials, including delivery.
    • Organization and administration by qualified full-time and summer staff.
    • Program T-shirt.
    • Future Development

*You are responsible for transportation to and from project worksites. It is recommended that you do not bring buses. Please call us if you are considering this option of transportation.
