Eligibility

  1. Committed Christians submitted to the Lordship of Jesus Christ as evidenced by regular Bible reading, active prayer lives, the sharing of Christ with others, and active involvement in ministry at their local churches.
  2. People ages 16 and older.
  3. People with servants hearts, interested in missions work and open to God's calling in their lives.
  4. People with proportionate height and weight, physically able to participate in vigorous activity.

  • Completed Application Form
  • Application Fee of $40
  • Discipline, Liability and Medical Release Form
  • Recent Photograph
  • 500 Word Essay Based on the following (not applicable for adults 22 years or older)
    1. Short Autobiography
    2. My Qualifications to Participate (based on the eligiblity requirements above)
    3. Why I Want to go on a Missions Trip

3 References

  1. Home church youth minister or senior minister
  2. Home church elder
  3. Home church Sunday School teacher or sponsor

When downloading Reference Forms, print 3 copies. Please ask each person to complete their form, seal it, and return it to you.

* If you've been on a CIY mission trip before, you do not need to turn in the essay or the references.
