“Each city in a country can be amazingly diverse. Surveying Verona and seeing how God has formed our team is incredibly exciting. Verona is a city of the arts, which includes music, painting, dance, drawing, theater, sculpture, culinary arts, etc. The team that God has brought together is gifted in all these arts. From the early stages, we realized how a community arts center could be a great way to interact with this community and begin building relationships with these people” (Words from Matt Crosser). You will be a part of a team who will spend time in serious prayer before the Father, asking Him to move through His servants in Verona to reach the lost.

The Missionaries

Matt & Angie Crosser are both originally from Tulsa, Oklahoma, and went to Ozark Christian College. They have been part of Taking Christ in Italy since May 1999. Matt & Angie were part of the Ancona Team planting the first church in Ancona, Italy. In 2007, they followed a call to lead the second church plant in Northern Italy. After survey trips and much prayer, the city of Verona was chosen. Matt’s main roles include being the team leader, administration, working with short term groups, graphics and design, video & web editing, curriculum design, computer tech, and building relationships. Angie’s main roles include homemaker, team member, preschool ministry, children’s English, adult English, administration, building relationships, and hospitality.
