Aaron's passion for music started when he began his walk with Jesus in 1996. Within the first year of becoming a Christian, he learned to play the guitar and discover his ability to sing at the age of 17. Music was apart of his soul and once he met his maker music became an outlet for his prayers and dreams.
In 1999 Aaron took a summer internship at a church in Aliso Veijo, there he fell in love with worship. He remembers watching the worship band practicing and sensed the call to lead people in a time of full surrender to God through music. It was at that moment Aaron felt the tug on his heart to become a worship leader.
Once the summer was over Aaron went home to Vancouver, Washington and started to fill a role as a worship leader for the young adult's ministry at Summit View Community Church. During that time he married the woman of his dreams, Maureen. Together they knew that God had blessed Aaron with music and the pursuit of fulfilling God's calling in Aaron's life was a priority.
After being married for six months they decided to move to Las Vegas, Nevada. Aaron pursued his passion for music and served as one of the worship leaders for Junior High ministry at Central Christian Church. In 2004 Aaron took the job at The Crossing as the student ministry worship pastor. This is where he began to really grow as an artist and worship leader. He developed the gift of song writing through many great experiences and some very hard trials.
After four years of leading at the church, he once again felt the Lord tugging on his heart. It was time to transition out and move into a new direction of ministry. The opportunity to move to southern california and live in the mountains became a blessing, Aaron was able to complete his first full length album and Maureen became the Program Director for Ponderosa Pines Christian Camp.
Currently Aaron serves as one of the worship leaders at Calvary Chapel Running Springs. When Aaron is not leading at his home church in California, he may be leading at a camp, church, or conference somewhere in the country. 2009 is the start of a ministry that God is entrusting Aaron with. Aaron is very excited to see what God has in store for this next year.
