What Jr. highers are saying about Believe … —

By CIY Staff

The first stop on the “WITH” spring tour for Believe was held Jan. 26-27 at the Cox Business Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and we’re already hearing stories from students on how they were impacted by the event.

“This is my first time at Believe – it’s fun and interesting,” said C.J. Warrington, an eighth grader with Crossings Community Church in Edmond, Oklahoma. “Believe helps you understand the Word more.”
Believe welcomed guest speaker Robert Watson, pastor with Sun Valley Community Church in Arizona, and singer Merci Neff to lead praise and worship. Merci, the worship band and the Kalied Dance Crew teamed up to bring powerful music to the event.
“It was so cool,” said Eden Paul, teen with Christ’s Church of Oronogo. “Merci came down and danced with us – it was just so awesome. It really meant a lot to us.”
The entertaining trio, Kalied Dance Crew, taught the Jr. highers some moves.
“The dancers – I did not see that coming,” said Tia Jones, seventh grader with Christ’s Church of Oronogo. “Seeing all the people here makes me feel good and closer to God. Going to church and being with my youth group has become a big part of my life.”
